The August Promotion (part 1)
The main highlight of this weekend was the success of making Air Superiority free this weekend.

I can't really express my disbelief at the stats.
I'll do a proper update on what happened after next weekend's free promotion is finished. I don't expect to see another spike like this, but then I'll have more numbers to work with.
Renegades update
This is the bit I wanted to quickly chat about.
Renegades writing is going well. I am currently closing in on 50k words, and Chapter 4 is almost finished. There are, as always, a few tweaks to the plot as I write, but it's making the story richer and everything is coming together.
The hardest bit of my writing this weekend has been nailing Nikolay's POV. I hope I don't disappoint any of you. Writing intelligent characters can be daunting, but I think the payoff is worth it.
The most fun bit of writing has been diving into the logistics of 3 Stalkers, 4 Raptors, a warship, 4 [as of yet unintroduced sixth-gen air superiority platforms] and 2 Spectres going all guns blazing near Cyprus. The Taipei skyscrapers had nothing on this...
Am I in the zone? Yes. Are there enough hours in the day? No. I do my best, but I still have a long way to go. Thank you for your patience, and feel confident that the wait is worth it. Renegades is shaping up to be the best of both Air Superiority and Compromised in one novel.
